How to Upgrade a Previous Version of Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security to Windows Vista.
Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security is a computer program that acts as a type of advanced firewall for computers running the Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7 operating systems. Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security will monitor your Internet connection, allowing only the incoming connections that are deemed safe to access your computer. If you want to upgrade a previous version of Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security to the newest version for your Windows Vista computer, you'll need to use the Trend Micro upgrade site.
# Step 1: Open your web browser.
# Step 2: Visit the Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security upgrade site (see References).
# Step 3: Scroll down and click on the red download link for the version of the upgrade file that is available for your operating system. If you're running a 32-bit version of Windows Vista, you'll need to download the 32-bit copy of the installation file. If you're running a 64-bit version of Windows Vista, you'll need to download the 64-bit copy of the installation file.
# Step 4: Open the Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security upgrade file after it's on your computer.
# Step 5: Click "Next." Click "I Agree" to signify that you agree to the terms of service for Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security and then click "Next." Enter your Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security serial number (which you received when you originally purchased your previous version) into the box on screen and click "Next." Continue to advance through the installation process by reading the directions on screen to finish upgrading your previous version of Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security to the newest version.
